Laying XXL tiles, anything over 120×120 cm, can't be improvised. It takes specialist tooling, a perfectly flat substrate (the surface beneath the tiles) and a team to handle them. It's one of our specialities, and few companies in the area will take it on.

A bathroom where nothing looks out of place: a level-access shower, wall tiles with clean grout lines, a ceramic-clad heated towel rail that blends in, built-in niches and shelves. We redo everything, from stripping out the old fittings to the final grout line. Plumbing and electrics included: we coordinate the trades, so you only deal with one person.

Three ways to build a terrace on pedestals: pedestals alone, pedestals with aluminium joists, or pedestals with slatted decking. The more complete the system, the quieter it is underfoot. And because the pedestals are height-adjustable, the terrace can sit level with the interior floor, with no threshold, if you wish.

You see wall tiles up close, so every grout line counts. We lay them with clean, even grout lines and careful finishing, right down to the details you see every day.

A good walk-in shower depends on what you can't see: the waterproofing. We do it before any tile is laid, so you get a level-access shower you can rely on every day.

When the substrate allows it, tiles can be fixed directly with adhesive. We lay outdoor tiles on a slab or other suitable substrate, with the same careful preparation as indoors, for a terrace with clean, continuous lines.

Barefoot, wet, in full sun: a pool surround needs the right tiles and careful laying. We lay copings and surrounds all around the pool, finished cleanly right into the corners.

A stove is a feature of the room in its own right. We clad your fireplace or stove in tiles and take care of everything around it, so the hearth blends into your interior and looks good.

In most cases we can lay over your old tiles. When that isn't possible, we remove the old covering, prepare the substrate and move straight on to laying. In a full renovation, you only deal with one team, from removal to the last grout line.

Tiles, especially large-format ones, won't forgive an uneven substrate. We apply the levelling compound and liquid screed that give a perfectly flat base before tiles or any other covering go down.
